TUMC is now gathering prayers for our 2021 Lenten Devotional

Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent will soon be with us for 2021. We would like to have a Lenten Devotional prepared for our church family for distribution on Sunday, Feb. 14th. We are seeking anyone willing to share a favorite devotion, personal prayer or reflection that will be compiled as a Lenten Devotional to be shared with our Trinity church family to help in our preparation and reflection during Lent. Submit your devotion to Eileen Glass at eileenglass2@verizon.net or in hard copy to her at the Church office by Monday, Feb. 1st .

Lent is the time in the Christian calendar for self reflection and spiritual renewal. This time is to be used as a period of spiritual preparation, remembering Jesus made the actual sacrifice of dying for our sins on the cross at Calvary. It is this great sacrifice of giving Himself totally in order to bring life to our dying world that should challenge us during Lent to move towards personal reflection, renewal, and commitment of living a more focused and disciplined life for our God.

Please prayerfully consider being a part of this important ministry as we approach the Lenten season. Prayer is about being intimate with God and it releases God’s actions in our lives. Take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen your relationship with God and share your devotion with
others.

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15
