Bible Basics

12-week Bible Basics will start on Wednesday, Sept. 17th with two class options—either 2:00pm or 7:00pm on Wednesdays. We’ll look at how the Bible came to be, who wrote it, and what the major themes and teachings of the Scriptures are.

Gospel of St. Matthew

We invite you to share with Drew Harvey as we study the Gospel of St. Matthew using a challenging book by Matthew Skinner ($10 in the church office). The subtitle is intriguing—”The Gospel of Promised Blessings”. Jesus’ many teaching and parables will be studied as well as some of Jesus’ challenging words to people who opposed him so vigorously. The group will begin Tuesday, Sept. 10th at 7pm meeting live in the Welcome Center as well as on Zoom, and continue for 6 weeks, until Oct. 15th.

Daytimers

The Daytimers group will meet Wednesdays starting Sept. 11th at 9:30am on Zoom will be studying Matthew through Oct. 16th. Daytimers will continue to meet following the pattern of studying four connected passages from the Old Testament, Psalms, Epistles, and Gospels.

Advent Study coming…

“The Christmas Letters” by Magrey R. DeVega is the Advent study Drew Harvey will be leading starting Tues. Nov. 19th at 7pm and continuing through December 10th, both in person and on Zoom. Books will be available in the church office at $10 each.
