COVID-19 Updates [Updated 5.29.21]

Follow the latest updates as we plan for alternative ways to worship during this time.

May 29, 2021:
As we continue our worship planning in response to the pandemic, Trinity is doing our best to follow the guidelines of the state of Pennsylvania and our UM Conference leadership. Trinity is attempting to balance the physical, mental, and spiritual health of our church and community by offering multiple opportunities for worship.

Please note that beginning May 30th , our in person worship services will be outdoors at 9:30am (weather permitting) and in the sanctuary at 11:00am. The third service will continue being offered online at 10:00am on Facebook, or on our website.

Capacity restrictions will be lifted May 31st but until then, we require that you RSVP for Sunday’s in-person worship service by calling the Church office by 4:00pm on Friday. Those not fully vaccinated who attend inside must continue to wear masks.

Please be aware this is all subject to change as more information becomes available.

God is faithful, and God is good, and God will lead us through this! God bless, Pastor Jeff

January 8, 2021:
Our primary service at this time is our online worship service at 10am, available here or on our Facebook page. We are also holding an in-person service with a limited capacity at 9:30 and 11:00am, for those who cannot participate in the online service or have a strong preference for in-person worship.

To accommodate our new capacity restrictions, we must require that you RSVP for each week’s indoor worship service by calling the church office by 4:00pm on Friday. Those who attend in person much wear masks, check temperatures, sanitize, and answer the COVID questions related to possible exposure.

December 11, 2020:

We have made the difficult decision to temporarily
suspend in-person worship this Sunday, Dec. 13th, up through and including Jan. 3rd.

Please worship online with us, if you are able.

If you would like to come to the church for private meditation and prayer, the sanctuary will be made available for a limited and safe number of individuals and/or family units to come and pray during this Christmas/Advent season. We ask that you call ahead to reserve a time, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Our Safety team will meet again to discern the best way forward when these regulations are lifted. Please keep all of us in prayer as we do our best to navigate these difficult times and make the best decision possible.

December 3, 2020:

As we continue our worship planning in response to the pandemic, Trinity is doing our best to follow the guidelines of the state of Pennsylvania and our UM Conference leadership.  As PA is currently under a Stay at Home Advisory, Trinity is attempting to balance the physical, mental, and spiritual health of our church and community by offering multiple opportunities for worship.

Our primary service at this time is our online service at 10 am on Facebook, or on our website.  We are also holding in person worship for a limited capacity at 9:30 and 11:00 am, for those who cannot participate in the online service, or have a strong preference for in person worship.

To accommodate our new capacity restrictions, we must require that you RSVP for each Sunday’s indoor worship service by calling the church office by noon on Fridays.  Those who attend in person must wear masks, check temperatures, sanitize, and answer the COVID questions related to possible exposure.

November 27, 2020:

In person worship for Sunday, November 29, 2020 has been temporarily suspended.

Our Safety Team will meet this Wednesday, December 2 to discuss whether or not we can safely gather for worship in December.

August 30, 2020:

Staring Sunday, September 13th, we will begin regathering in the Sanctuary as part of phase 3 of Trinity’s reopening plan.

You’ll have three options for Sunday morning worship: there will be a 9:30am service in the Sanctuary (with precautions in place), as well as an 11:00am service in the Church parking lot. We will also continue our 10am online service for the foreseeable future.

Precautions for the 9:30am Sanctuary worship service include:

  • Temperature checks at the door (if you are sick or are experiencing a fever, please stay home)
  • Masks will be required to be worn in the building
  • 6ft of separation between chairs will be maintained (families may sit together)
  • We will not be having congregational singing; a small Praise Team will provide music behind plexiglass during this time

You can read the full guidelines for indoor worship here.

June 18, 2020:

All in-person gatherings at the church building—such as small groups, choir practice, etc.—will be temporarily postponed.

We do not know how long these changes will be in effect, and are making our own decisions on a week-to-week basis. Please bear with us as we respond to the rapidly changing situations that may arise.
